Say It With...Christmas 1 - Handmade Gifts

This year I really wanted to do some boxes of cards to give as gifts, so this challenge has given me a bit of a kick start (something I needed!)!  

My box has 8 cards in total using the same designs shown above but in different colours.  I've used the same sketch from last Saturday as well because I simply liked it so much lol!

This stamp set will be part of our January release (just a little sneak peek!) and I've sponged the colour on to give the two tone to the flower.

I'm still without a globe for my Ottlite so working at night (which is when I usually do my stamping) and taking photos has really been stretched!

The box is our kraft C6 which fit our Australian standard cards perfectly!  They come flat which is great for stamping on (in Versamark here) and then fold together and hold without any glue!

Bind-It-All Fun

A friend emailed me just the other day wanting to know if I had heard much about the Bind-It-All machine...and I had to be honest and say that I had one - I just love gadgets!  This is great little machine if you like making things, which I do, and I had great intentions, but I have only used mine twice in over 12 months (this is the second time!).  So I thought what better time to throw something together very quickly to share.

I covered two front covers very quickly with DSP from SU!, used their set Time Well Spent for the flower, coloured it with Copics, and there it was.

It is a lot of fun and is apparently on sale at Spotlight!  I will take a bit more time with my next project and see if I can't come up with something else.

Stamp Sale Updated

Good morning everyone!   I have been told to move the stamps off the floor of my office by my DH, so I have taken a further $5- off most items in the 'Discontinued Second Hand Stamp' section (except the brand new ones).  Let me know if there is anything there you would like.

This little item is not a new idea, but one I thought might be quick and easy for the school fete that is coming in November.  It's meant to be a photo holder, but I just couldn't put my finger on one, so this unfinished item came to hand.

All craft items are from SU!, double sided and foam tape from TLOCS, and the large clip is from Officeworks.

Yes, they're here.......

And I am talking about some new stamps!  They arrived the same day as our two visitors from France!  It has been a very exciting week, and when you can't speak French it has been very interesting.  The two girls are staying with us until they leave for Sydney Monday morning.

I started this post last Thursday and I have not had a chance to get back to it until now.

Our guests have gone, and our son also left this morning bound for Sydney and World Youth Day.  So now I may have some time!

 

I have decided to make my blog a platform for all of my stamps from different companies, as well as Stampin' Up!  I have tried to keep two going independently of each other and it really hasn't worked, with each suffering when I am working on the other.  So here we go.

I made the girls a card each, which would you believe I forgot to take photos of, as well as a bookmark each.

These are done using a flower design from the upcoming SU! mini catalogue, due to begin 1st August, and a sentiment from the 'Everyday Blessings' set from Papertrey Ink.  I watercoloured them using SU! markers.

So I hope you enjoy what will be a new look blog over the next few days, with ideas from all different parts of the papercrafting world.
