September Freebie Friday - Mixed Sprinkles

Welcome to Septembers Freebie Friday weekend!  Has everyone seen the new Sprinkles at AnnaBelle Stamps?  I am so excited to offer the three mixes of Sprinkles this weekend!  Each container has approximately 180 6mm drops of transparent colour, and on top of that you can screw the containers together to save on some space, how great is that?  There is a total of 24 colours so far in this collection, but you never know when that might grow..

Freebie Friday - Yummy Paper

Freebie Friday - Ribbon Ring!

The RibbonRing has been around for a little while, and I have looked at it and thought of how I could use it, and if it would suit my ribbon mess.  Well I won't have to wait much longer, because after a short 2 week break in the U.K. - yes my order went on a little holiday - it should be here today!  So for this Freebie Friday I will send one lucky person a trial size pack of 10 Standard rings and a 2" Ring.  Simply leave a comment on THIS post -even "Hi!" will do it - and it could be yours.  For everyone else they will be available HERE!

Flower Pot - sk053009

I am learning a few new tricks with my photo editing program - thank you youtube (what a great resource!) - I just have to learn how to read instructions to the finish, as I do tend to rush in with excitement :)

Todays card was made using the weekend sketch from Paper Craft Planet.  I've stamped my main image using Palette Burnt Umber and coloured with Copics.  I am never sure about shading around an image so always tend to go very lightly, so lightly sometimes that you can barely see it, but not today!  As a novice of these wonderful markers I have a lot of fun experimenting, because I really don't know how it will turn out.

I've used this lovely image before, and you will find it in the Growing Gratitude set from Our Craft Lounge.  I cut and embossed the image with Spellbinders circles, and layered it on to SU! Always Artichoke and So Saffron.

I pleated the grosgrain ribbon - cafe latte - and used Mini Glue Dots to secure.  The Dew Drops are Pearls that I coated using a matching Copic marker.  Colouring them this way works well, although the colour isn't as smooth as I would like it.

Freebie Friday - adhesive and ribbon give-away!

  Hi everyone and sorry for the lateness of this post!  I waited all day yesterday hoping my computer would be coming home, but alas it is still waiting on a part....and then I lost the cows!  But that story later.

Freebie Friday - 2009!

  Welcome to the first Freebie Friday for 2009!!

I thought I would start the year with something very special, and as Our Craft Lounge has released a whole bunch of new stamps at the CHA last weekend, I thought I would kick start this year with one of their stamps sets!

Another Box

  When I made the two boxes last week I had in mind that the gift cards would be the 'normal' size, and as it turned out one stores gift card is approx. 19cm x 10cm!  So I set about making another using the same paper and method as in this post, but in a rectangle.

I am having the final 'Freebie Friday' for this year tomorrow, and it will be open to all, near and far!  So pop on over some time over the weekend to see what is up for grabs.

Stamp set draw!

  Happy 1st December!  So the count down begins, and we all know how quickly that passes us by.

I thought I would include a simple card today so I could announce the Freebie Friday winner for this month.  The names were printed out and Nathan reached deep in to the bag to pull out the name...SANDIE CARTER.  Congratulations Sandie!  If you could email me to confirm your postal address, and I will get that out to you ASAP!

This is a simple card I am doing for an order, and although you can't see in the picture the Olive cardstock forms a frame around the image.  I have firstly punched a smaller square, and then used a larger square punch for the outer.  The tree image is from Kitchen Sink Stamps, and the words from Papertrey Ink.  The white cardstock is a linen texture from TLOCS.
