I hope you've all had a Simply Spectacular Saturday so far!  LOL!  This is my sketch for this weeks Simply Saturday...and it is very simple. I've used an easy to cut out image from Mum's Flowers, stamped it in Palette Noir, and coloured using Twinkling H2O's.  I wanted to try blending two very different colours this time to see how it would look, and experimenting is a great to learn how to use new things.  They blended in to each other very easily, as most water colours do, but what I love about these is their shimmer.

 

I cut the flower out trying to leave just a little of the white cardstock showing so that when I mounted it on to the black felt cardstock it would stand out.  I used dimensional foam to raise the image.

The black was then mounted on to SU! Turquoise and this section was also raised with dimensional foam before going on to the white layer.
