Welcome! Today I am not only showing you one of the many flowers in next weeks release, but I am also starting a new sketch challenge - Simply Saturday. Many times I have admired the 'clean and simple' card, or CAS. I remember the first time someone described one of my cards as 'CAS' I had to go in search of what it actually meant!
So for the first challenge I have stripped it right back and have only added one layer - although I was tempted to add more lol.
The flower image is from a new set called Flowers for You, and will be available from next Friday.
So on to smooth white cardstock I stamped one of the images with Palette Burnt Umber and quickly coloured with Copics. Cut the image with a Petite Scallop from Spellbinders, and embossed it. The image was then raised on to the the front of the the card with dimensional foam, and a sentiment (from another new set) stamped underneath. This card seriously only took me 10 minutes!

Love this simple but sweet card. I have just mastered how to emboss the edges like you have done on the scalloped circle.

Gorgeous. It's Amazing that this card embodies the saying "Less is More" Perfectly.

Love your card Andrea - Have entered mine but I think good CAS cards are the hardest to make!!!!!
