Hi everyone! I hope you liked taking a look at the new stamp sets and Sprinkles. Don't forget to follow this LINK to the new AnnaBelle Stamps blog for your chance to win the whole collection!
Taking a photo of a DL card is a little harder than the other more squat shapes! I could just fit it in, as I need to be as close as I can or my camera does make things look a little fuzzy.
This card uses the sketch from Paper Craft Planet and the Holly Branch and Jewelled Tree sets. Using a large acrylic block, I've laid the four seperate holly stamps out so that I could see exactly how they would be when stamped, rather than doing each one seperately. They've been stamped with Palette Jardin Moss and coloured with Copics. The only yellow Copics I have are very bright yellows, and I wanted something a little more subdued. After some trial and error I remembered a technique that I haven't used in a long time, but I think it worked o.k. here. Using SU! So Saffron waterbased ink pad and a blender pen I worked my way around the outer edge, and then lightly sponged. The Sprinkles are 3mm and 4mm Chilli, and were applied using Glossy Accents. Double sided red satin ribbon and a couple of quick bows made with the Bow Easy (Back in stock soon) and I was finished.
