I made this little gift box/bag last week using an idea that I had seen before many times but was inspired to do it when I saw this one. Isn't it just beautiful! Mine is no where as elegant but what a great idea for our Spellbinders!
I started with the largest die from the Labels one collection - there has been an urgent order placed for these and they should be back in stock with the supplier soon. I used glossy white cardstock and ran the dies back through to emboss the edge. Using the dots from a Papertrey Ink set I stamped both die cuts with Versamark, then used a brayer to roll on the ink. Once done I gently wiped any excess ink off with a tissue.
This gorgeous little bunnie is a stamp that I have had for about 7 years and hadn't used it for some time, but he was fun to use again, is from SonLight Impression. Stamped once again with Palette Burnt Umber and then coloured with Copics and cut out. The words and little eggs are from Papertrey Ink.
For the bag in the centre I used the bag-a-lope technique and trimmed to fit. Don't forget to leave a comment on the Freebie Friday post for your chance to win the blog candy!

This is my card for this weeks Mojo Monday. Now I was basically finished this card the other day, but have been a little lost as to how to edit it etc on another computer. Well I have done my best, but the card is a different coluor IRL - more coral than red.
The stamped images are from the SU! set Touch of Nature, one that I just love. I used Palette Burnt Umber on smooth white cardstock and coloured the images with my Copics. I cut them all out and ran the Copic marker around the edge to cover any remaining white cardstock showing through, before I applied Glossy Accents which really makes the colour come to life.
The DSP for this card is Inque Boutiques Cabana, the colours in this pack are just so pretty.
The bottom scalloped edge was done with my Carl cutter and I added little dots of Gold Pearl Liquid Pearls.
The stemmed leaves I added as an after thought this morning, it just looked as though it was missing something! They look a little grey here but they are in fact a Copic that matches SU! River Rock and a touch of green. I didn't want a green that would take over.
The little sentiment is one from Papertrey Ink, and I initially stamped it in Cameo Coral and when that didn't look right I went over it using the Burnt Umber. Just love clear stamps!
The ribbon is a 10mm grosgrain called Cafe Latte.
Lastly is the butterfly, and using some fine wire I curled the ends and attached it underneath. I have some foam tape under the wings to keep them raised and 3mm wide X-Press it tape down the centre. A few Dew Drops in the corner and it was done!

Hi everyone and sorry for the lateness of this post! I waited all day yesterday hoping my computer would be coming home, but alas it is still waiting on a part....and then I lost the cows! But that story later.

Last Wednesday night - whilst watching House - our computer blew up! Sounds dramatic doesn't it, but fortunately it wasn't on at the time, and no one was using it, so hopefully all that was saved on there, still is!
So I won't have it back until next Wednesday and as my editing program and everything else is on that one and not this one I won't be able to share what I have made. I hope you will be able to join in though - check the link here - and send me a link with your creation, I'd love to see it!

It is a beautiful day here today, and just the perfect temperature for Autumn.
This card is for the Mojo Monday sketch challenge for this week, and I have used a set that I haven't used for a while from Papertrey Ink called Spiral Bouquet. It's just so delicate and pretty! The flower images have been stamped on Smooth White cardstock and then cut out, with the larger flowers raised using dimensional foam.
I curved the bottom of the cardstock using the circle cutter from CM, and when I went to mount it on Close to Cocoa I pulled out this scrap piece with the inverted scallop and thought it added just a little interest! Some things are just meant to be...
The background cardstock is Spring Moss from PI and I ran it through a Cuttlebug embossing folder. The half pearls are from SU!
I used my new little rhinestones on the centres of the flowers just as a last little touch.

For this sketch challenge I wanted to use some more DSP I found in my stash - it's just so pretty.
I have stamped the elephant from the Lil' Pea-nut set using Palette Noir Black ink and coloured her using Copic markers.
It was looking a little stark around the image, so I have simply sponged some colour on. I used Old Olive and Blush Blossom, both from Stampin' Up!
The image iteself is set behind the scallop frame, and then the present has been raised with foam tape and a touch of Glossy Accents was added to the ribbon.
The Dew Drops are from the Spring Blooms mix and I attached these using the Glossy Accents.
I received a great email from Sharon, who comments here (thanks), the other day, with an idea for a card and I would love to give it a go. To do this I need to buy acetate and I have no idea where I might find it, and all I have is the transparency film for printing - which doesn't work. Can any one help me with where I should be looking for this, I may have been past it several times at Officeworks and simply missed it.LOL I did have some and do you think I can find it? Any email of suggestions would be appreciated.

It seems as though it has been a while since I sat and just made a card without using a sketch challenge to inspire me. I love sketches because it gives you a base to work with, and I will quite often do a quick draft of what is in my head so that I know where I am headed.
With this card it was the paper - out of my long time stash - by Scrapbook Walls. I will often buy beautiful paper like this and then hate to cut it and so end up keeping it for another day. This paper I am sure I have had for at least 18 months.
The stamp is from SU! Stem Silhouetes, and I have used Palette Burnt Umber to stamp it. I punched tiny flowers from the DSP and added the tiniest rhinestones to the centre. I have edged all of the DSP with the stamp pad as well, and cut the swirls using Spellbinders Doodle Parts. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink stamped with Burnt Umber, trimmed to size and one end rounded using a circle punch. If any of you haven't seen that done before just let me know and I will include it a future post.
I have wanted the Spellbinders narrow rectangles for a while, but as I still don't have them I improvised with my regular rectangles by cutting it down the middle and cutting out one scallop section. I would have liked a little more length, and realise now that I could have simply cut it in the other direction and placed the cut out section in - next time.
I am by nature very shy, but I would like to share something with you that I was very excited about yesterday. I visited the Mojo Monday blog after last weeks competition to see the final selection of cards, and there was mine in the top 16! I didn't need to win a prize because just being there was such a thrill! You can check out the slide show here.

Would you believe I started this card on Tuesday and am only finishing it today! And I have time today as it is RAINING! Yes we haven't seen rain for something like two months - or is it longer - but it means I don't have to water the trees today, so I can play in my 'special room'/office.
The fact that it is raining is the cause of the blue effect on the card as well, my camera not able to work when it is dull like it is today - but we don't mind because it's RAINING.
Other parts of the state had rain over the weekend which did wonders for the fires they were still trying to put out, so I'm not complaining that we didn't see any, but it's certainly lovely to have some today.
But back to the card. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday for this week, and stamped the flower image twice on white cardstock using palette Black Noir ink and coloured them using Copics. The flower is from the LAD set Jolies Fleurs. With the main sentiment I used waterbased markers to colour the stamp in the two tones, 'huffed' and stamped on to white cardstock. These words are from the SU! set Occasional Greetings. The edges have been sponged to soften them. On the polka dot DSP I stamped another image from the LAD set just to add a little more interest and sponged the edges of this as well.
I have had these little flowers for ages, but they are from Fancy pants. I will have something similar in stock very soon! I finished them off with some Dew Drops - Pearl and Soil.

I hope all other Victorians are enjoying the long weekend! We are home, but I love the extra day we have together.
This card is for the TECC challenge. It was a sketch I was sure on what to do, but the OCL set Anna-Mae came to my rescue!
All the images were stamped using Palette Noir Black, coloured with Copics and cut out so that I could raise them with dimensional foam.
I used the Spellbinders Ribbon Tags Trio for the bottom sentiment, and threaded through Polka Dot ribbon.
I still have a mountain load of work to do outside so I am heading there now, but I just had to finish this card before I could do any more..LOL

Now I haven't had a lot of time this week....someone please help me, the computer is taking over my life...I have been in search for new craft items to stock, and I just don't know how to stop looking.
So on to todays card. This little set is from SU! and is called Bunny Hugs. I stamped him using Palette Burnt Umber and coloured him with Copic markers. You may be as able to just pick up that I have sponged lightly around him as well.
Ther are so many raised layers to this card I don't think it would be one to send in the post! The centre is two sheets of cardstock - So Saffron and Cameo Coral from SU! - with a DSP from them as well. They have been raised using foam tape, as well as the centre Cameo Coral, then the bunny, then the basket, and finally the second row of eggs. Phew!
The centre panels were cut from Spellbinders Labels 2, with the Cameo one ran through the Cuttlebug to add the embossed dots. I have given his tail a bit of bling in the form of a Dew Drop from the Spring Bloom collection, and added some to the bottom of the card.
I had Easter in mind when I ordered these Dew Drops, and they would be perfect for babies cards and gifts as well. The gorgeous ribbon is from Papertrey Ink.
