Hi everyone! I thought I would share with you today a few of the 'quicker' cards for this years season. I mean they can't all be like the 'O Holy Night' card, I would never get them finished! These are some of the ready made cards from TLOCS, and I hope you like some of them for your own projects.
This first card is made using a Cuttlebug embossing and cutting duo. I have finished it off by rubbing the ink pad over the embossed surface and then added some Dimensional Pearls. The sentiment is from the SU! set Occasional Greetings, and the circles used the petite Spellbinders. The bottom edge is simply using my Scor-Pal to make the embossed lines.
The next card is an idea I saw on the Hero Arts site, and I simply introduced the stamps I had to make it up.
The wording on the Kraft cardstock is the SU! wheel 'All About Christmas' and I have used Versamark on this.
The Christmas tree is from Kitchen Sink Stamps, and the words from Papertrey Ink, and the ribbon is available here.
I achieved the wavy edge using a cutter from CM...easy
This cute little tree is from the SU! 'Celebrate Everyday' set and is stamped on circles from the Petite Spellbinders. The main white cardstock was embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder.
This next little card is using Kraft cardstock once again and I have stamped the main tree image with ink and then the patterned image over the top with the Tsukineko Glue Pad and then added the AED Blue Ice Superfine Glitter. I wasn't sure how I would like the glue pad for glitter because I have mostly used the Hot Set Powder, but it is great, especially for these quick projects.
I hope you have enjoyed a little look at some new Christmas cards today. Don't forget to tell everyone about next weeks 'Freebie Friday' and tell them to sign up with Feedblitz (on the left) so they will be reminded to leave a comment when it's on!
Happy stamping,

Hi Andrea!
These cards are lovely. Elegant and effective. I especially love your choice of colours on the 2nd and 4th Christmas tree cards. The wreath sits so beautifully on the first card. I am going to try to make it, and make the card look like a front door. The cuttlebug dots on the third card look like delicate little snowflakes. I can't wait to get one of those embossing folders. So much to try...better get started!
